Hello Everyone,
My name is Ellen and I was born in Gothenburg, Sweden where I was brought up by my hippie-art-freak mom with my two sisters . My mom always encouraged me to draw and be artistic in any way. My interest for tattooing has pretty much always been deep inside me although I didn't have the confidence until late 2010 to actually start tattooing. Shortly after I was tricked into moving to Falun, Sweden by my very talented tattooist boyfriend and colleague Mårten. I started working at Temple of Art Tattoo which has been a great experience before moving to Stockholm to work at Zoi Tattoo where I'm currently preparing to work full time.
I mostly enjoy doing realistic tattoos such as animals and flowers but black n' grey, text and other styles are also enjoyable. Besides tattooing and drawing I love to sing and play the piano, creating is my life whether it be a piece of artwork, music or any other shape or form so.. in a sense, I guess I´m a pretty nerdy =)
Music: Mostly metal, classical music and movie soundtracks.
Movies: HORROR, HORROR, HORROR.....

Artist: Pavel Krim (Estonia)
Pavel was born the 21st of May 1963, in the city of Tallinn, Estonia. He got his first tattoo when he was 13 years old in a cellar where he was hiding from his parents. They did it simply: A needle, a thread and a pioneer ink. In 2001, the art of tattoo really started to interest him when he went to a experienced tattooist to correct his childhood's tattoo that he did in his cellar. After that, he began to study the art of tattooing. Pavel has now been working professionally since 2002. He's been participating in many tattoo festivals and has won several awards for his works.
Pavel will be coming to work in the Stockholm shop in the near future.

Apprentice Markus Lindbom
Markus traveled a long way from Brisbane, Australia to pursue his passion in tattooing all at the early age of 18. Markus is under the wings of all the artists here at Zoi Tattoo and would like to get recognized for his new school custom designs in the future.
He's currently taking care of the shops text work, working on some old school tattoos and sketching custom designs while in apprenticeship

Den Yakovlev: (Moscow Russia)
28 year old tattoo guest artist Den Yakovlev comes from Moscow, Russia and is grabbing the attention of the tattoo culture worldwide.
Den will be doing some guest work here in the Stockholm shop from
August 21st till August 31st, 2012.
